Yeah! Finally got it!

I Finally got my NY Giants Commemorative Football from Sports Illustrated!

It only took about 5 months to get it to me! My guess is that the demand for the football was much greater than the folks at SI initially thought.. Now all I need is a protective case for it.

It came complete with a stand and CofA..

If that little runt of a dog gets her paws on this, I am sending her to the pound!!

Peter Michael McHugh - Rest in Peace

July 19, 1948 -
June 15, 2008

And now, the end is here
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll
say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life
that's full
I traveled each and ev'ry highway
And more, much more than
this, I did it my way

Regrets, I've had a few
But then again, too
few to mention
I did what I had to do and saw it through without exemption
I planned each charted course, each careful step along the byway
And
more, much more than this, I did it my way

Yes, there were times, I'm
sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew
But through it all,
when there was doubt
I ate it up and spit it out
I faced it all and I
stood tall and did it my way

I've loved, I've laughed and cried
I've
had my fill, my share of losing
And now, as tears subside, I find it all so
amusing
To think I did all that
And may I say, not in a shy way,
"Oh, no, oh, no, not me, I did it my way"

For what is a man, what
has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught
To say the things he
truly feels and not the words of one who kneels
The record shows I took the
blows and did it my way!

Yes, it was my way

My New Olympus E500: Now What????

Ok so here it is. My new camera. It is an 8.0mp Olympus Evolt E500 DSLR. My first DSLR camera.. I was using a Nikon Coolpix L6 before this one. The Nikon took great pictures, but this one is supposed to be alot better because it is an SLR, right?
Can anyone tell me what all these damn buttons and switches do? My best guess is that I can adjust shutter speed, aperture, field depth and a host of other things. But when? Where? How? Why?... I guess the camera doesn't make the photographer, it's the photographer that make the pictures...
Well, while I read about the buttons and take all the online tutorials that i can find, I guess I'll keep it on 'Auto.' If anyone has any suggestions on websites that offer good "dummy proof" DSLR tutorials, please do let me know.

I'm a Blackberry.. I'm an Exchange Server with Active Sync

I though it to be appropriate to continue my blog this morning with the same story I left off on last April. Research In Motion (RIM) has announced yet another outage that left users in North America without service. The second such outage in 2 weeks.

I have been using ActiveSync with my Windows Smartphone for well over a year without any major issues. Activesync is built into Exchange Server 2000/2003 and 2007. I wonder why companies opt for Blackberries? Devices are more expensive, the Enterprise Server carries a heavy price tag, and you have no control over the network. With Palm's introduction of the Treo 755p, they have included ActiveSync capabilities with their VersaMail application which runs on the PALM OS.. So those of us who are not completely comfortable with the Windows version can now get the same functionality as Blackberry users...
