Ok so here it is. My new camera. It is an 8.0mp Olympus Evolt E500 DSLR. My first DSLR camera.. I was using a Nikon Coolpix L6 before this one. The Nikon took great pictures, but this one is supposed to be alot better because it is an SLR, right? Can anyone tell me what all these damn buttons and switches do? My best guess is that I can adjust shutter speed, aperture, field depth and a host of other things. But when? Where? How? Why?... I guess the camera doesn't make the photographer, it's the photographer that make the pictures...
Well, while I read about the buttons and take all the online tutorials that i can find, I guess I'll keep it on 'Auto.' If anyone has any suggestions on websites that offer good "dummy proof" DSLR tutorials, please do let me know.
